This Law sets rules for creating, perfecting, prioritizing, and enforcing security interests in intangible movable property and assignments of receivables. This part sets rules for enforcing security interests, giving notice, registering interests, paying surplus, and providing information to grantors. This provision amends several Jersey laws to recognise Security Interests (Jersey) Law 2012 powers, preserve some older security interests under transitional rules, and allow certain secured-party enforcement actions in defined cases.
