Sexual Offences Act
Anyone who commits an indecent act with an adult is guilty of an offence punishable by up to five years' imprisonment or a fine up to fifty thousand shillings, or both.

About this statute
Anyone who commits an indecent act with an adult is guilty of an offence punishable by up to five years' imprisonment or a fine up to fifty thousand shillings, or both. An adult (eighteen years and above) who knowingly communicates with a child in a sexual way, or to encourage a child to communicate sexually, commits an offence and is liable to a fine of not less than five hundred thousand shillings or imprisonment for not less than five years, or both. A communication is sexual if any part relates to sexual activity or a reasonable person would consider any part sexual. The Chief Justice may make rules of Court for the implementation of the Act. Regulations may prescribe any matter required or permitted by this Act. The provisions of the First Schedule shall apply.
