About this statute

This Act may be cited as the Kenya Law Reform Commission Act. Defines terms used in the Act: "Cabinet Secretary", "Chairperson", "Commission", "member", "Salaries and Remuneration Commission", and "secretary". When fulfilling its mandate, the Commission must act in accordance with the values and principles set out in the Constitution and any written law. Section 10. Disqualification. Section is a member of a governing body of a political party; Sets out how the selection panel is convened and runs the process to nominate and the President or Cabinet Secretary to appoint the Chairperson and members of the Commission, including timelines, advertisement and shortlisting requirements and gender and disability/youth balance.
