About this statute

This Act may be cited as the Clinical Officers (Training, Registration and Licensing) Act. Section 2 provides definitions of terms used in the Act, including 'approved training institution', 'Cabinet Secretary', 'certificate', 'clinic', 'clinical officer', 'Council', 'Kenya Clinical Officers Association', 'medical centre', 'private practice', 'register', and 'Registrar'. The common seal must be kept in the custody of the Registrar or such other person as the Council may direct; the seal must be authenticated by the signature of the Chairperson or the Registrar.
