Statute overview

About this statute

This provision is the preamble to the grand-ducal decree establishing internal rules for the Normal School for teachers. Students must obey and respect their director, teachers, and assisting staff, study diligently, behave impeccably inside and outside the school, and act with perfect courtesy toward classmates. On class days, students must arrive at the establishment five minutes before the scheduled start and, when entering class, immediately take their assigned seats and avoid anything contrary to good order. Pendant les classes, aucun élève ne peut quitter l’établissement sans une permission spéciale. Breaks are five minutes after each lesson, and ten minutes in the specified morning and summer-afternoon cases. During breaks, students must leave the classroom and stay in the school courtyard unless excused by the director or class regent.
