This preamble says the Grand Ducal order is issued for distilleries that process beets or beet juice during the 1915-1916 and 1916-1917 campaigns. Certain agricultural and industrial distilleries may work beets or beet juice during the 1915-1916 and 1916-1917 distillation campaigns if they had previously worked flour-based materials before the 13 March 1915 ban.
