Statute overview

About this statute

This preamble says the Grand-Ducal order authorizes the Government to seize and expropriate all oat stocks from harvests before 1916. The Director General of Agriculture, Industry and Commerce is empowered to seize and expropriate certain pre-1916 oat stocks, and to order declarations, execution measures, and site visits to control those declarations. L’expropriation se fait moyennant paiement, ou par dépôt à la caisse des consignations si l’acceptation est refusée. Anyone who refuses to hand over the expropriated oats to the State, or who tries to breach the execution measures in Article 1, can be fined or imprisoned. The order takes effect the day after it is published in the Mémorial.
