About this statute

This decree concerns new salary and annual remuneration limits for certain social insurance schemes. In health insurance matters, the maximum normal salary used to calculate contributions and cash benefits is set at 180 francs per calendar day. Employees’ compulsory health insurance uses an annual remuneration limit of 60,000 francs, or 5,000 francs per month on average. For optional health insurance, the annual remuneration limits are set at 60,000 or 100,000 francs. Article 1 also applies to old-age and disability insurance and to the miners’ and metallurgists’ retirement fund.
