Statute overview
About this statute
This preamble introduces a Grand Ducal decree fixing the duties of the engineer-inspector for telegraphs and telephones. The engineer-inspector of Telegraphs and Telephones is attached to the technical division and normally takes orders from the chief engineer, unless the director delegates directly. The engineer-inspector is responsible for inspecting technical services, directing certain telephone, electrical, vehicle, and mechanical services, carrying out technical studies and missions when needed for the service, and replacing the chief engineer during leave. The engineer-inspector must follow the obligations set out in Article 37 of the 2 December 1877 grand-ducal order and Articles 20, 21 and 22 of the 22 August 1883 grand-ducal order. Le Ministre des Finances est chargé d’exécuter le présent arrêté.
