Statute overview
About this statute
Le texte autorise le ministre des Finances à fixer certaines conditions pour les bateaux et prévoit une dérogation limitée si les espaces de chargement peuvent être scellés. A customs-fixed security deposit must be provided to guarantee possible recovery of duties and monetary penalties. An omission or inaccuracy in required information on the river/canal import loading list is an offence under this order. Ship captains or brokers may make a declaration using a loading list when unloading imported sea goods, before the documents referred to in Article 127 are produced, if the bulk declaration under Article 8 has already been filed. The loading list must itemize the goods, may not contain details different from the general declaration, and must specify goods described as unknown or generically named; customs issues a duplicate after the list is submitted and security is provided.
