The law approves a convention that lets the Government grant a railway company the extension of the Bettembourg–Esch line to the Lorraine border toward Audun-le-Tiche. The Government may allow the imperial Alsace-Lorraine railway administration to operate the railway section, on the same conditions as the 11 June 1872 operating convention, except that its receipts are not counted for repayment of the eight-million subsidy. The State reserves the right to decide later on the enlargement of the Esch station.
