Statute overview
About this statute
Preamble to a 10 June 1898 law on accidental damage caused to superficie property by mining, quarrying, and extraction works. If there is no amicable settlement, the dispute goes to the justice of the peace; appeals are allowed only above 500 francs, and the bailiff must serve notice and forward copies to the judge. Documents, procedural acts, orders, and judgments made under the preceding provisions are exempt from stamp and registration formalities until final judgment.
