Statute overview
About this statute
This preamble says the law gives the Government power to regulate certain matters. Until 31 December 1949, the Government may make and adjust public-administration regulations for economic measures, subject to required opinions and with an exception for matters reserved to law by the Constitution. Certain administrative regulations and execution orders may set penalties, but only up to 5 years’ imprisonment and a 1,000,000-franc fine. This article keeps regulations and orders made under the law in force until changed, and ratifies those made under the 24 December 1947 law.
