About this statute
This provision is the preamble to a 22 March 1982 law that amends the 10 May 1974 law on economic and social reconversion measures in agriculture, commerce, and crafts. Le ministre de l’agriculture peut, après avis de la commission visée, déroger à l’obligation d’affiliation à la caisse de maladie agricole dans un cas précis. The Agriculture Minister may waive the stated percentage if the farm’s extent has fallen by more than 15% over the last three years for reasons beyond the operator’s control, and after the relevant commission gives its opinion. The ceiling is increased by 20% for each child for whom family allowances are due at the end of the stated period. The Agriculture Minister may waive the minimum age condition for certain widows and wives, if specified conditions are met and after consulting the commission.
