Violations of this law, its implementing regulations, or measures taken under them can be punished by prison, a fine, or one of those penalties alone, unless a more severe rule applies. The Penal Code’s first book and certain 1904 laws on mitigating circumstances apply to offences under this law. The Government member responsible for the Administration of Waters and Forests carries out this law, and everyone concerned must observe it.
