Statute overview
About this statute
This preamble identifies the law as concerning special equipment for vehicles used to transport or use as fuel materials that may endanger public safety, health, or sanitation. A Grand-Ducal regulation will set the rules for special equipment on public-road vehicles, except rail vehicles, and also for their loading and on-board documents. Before use, the equipment covered by Article 1 must be received/approved by the technical inspection body, and after use it is subject to periodic inspections. Le prix du contrôle technique est fixé par règlement du ministre compétent et ne peut pas dépasser 2.000 francs. Certain police, customs, and transport-control officials must enforce this law and its implementing rules and record offences.
