About this statute
This is the preamble of a Luxembourg law on participation in international financial organizations. This article approves the constitutive act of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, signed in Paris on 29 May 1990. The Government is authorized to join the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency created on 12 April 1988. The Office du Ducroire may also guarantee investments, but only if the investments help the economic and social development of the foreign country and its economic relations with Luxembourg. The Government is authorized to participate in the 7th capital increase of the European Investment Bank, in line with the Governors’ decision of 11 June 1990.
