About this statute

This preamble introduces a law on Luxembourg’s participation in financing infrastructure works for reopening certain passenger rail lines. The article approves a convention on the development, operation, and promotion of the cross-border railway lines Virton-Rodange and Arlon-Rodange. The Government is authorized to contribute to costs for railway infrastructure works in Belgium for the Virton-Rodange and Arlon-Rodange cross-border lines, subject to the convention referred to in Article 1. Les parties doivent maintenir jusqu’à fin 2018 le niveau réel des compensations versées en 2007 à la SNCB et aux CFL.
