Statute overview

About this statute

This text introduces the law and defines “fabrication” for medicines. La fabrication et l’importation des médicaments sont placées sous le contrôle du ministre de la santé. La fabrication des médicaments needs prior ministerial authorization, with an exemption for certain pharmacy operations; the responsible pharmacist must supervise and is restricted in where and for whom they may work. The minister must notify the applicant of the decision, and any refusal of authorization must be reasoned. Certain authorization-related changes must be notified to the minister in writing, and the minister may require changes to the authorization.
