Statute overview

About this statute

This preamble identifies the law creating a parking card for persons with disabilities and formally enacts it. Creates a parking card for people with reduced mobility and says the transport minister issues it, with limited exceptional cases. To apply for a parking card, the applicant must send the request to the minister, attach a medical certificate, and undergo a medical examination if required. The parking card holder may place the card on the windshield of the motor vehicle he drives or rides in, and may use the card only in specially reserved spaces marked with sign C,18 and a wheelchair symbol. A person may hold only one disabled-parking card; the card is personal, valid for up to five years, and expired cards must be returned to the minister without delay.
