This preamble identifies a Grand-Ducal regulation about authorizing the creation and operation of a database for the police service for foreigners at the Ministry of Justice. The creation and operation of a database of foreigners in contact with the foreign police service are authorized for the Ministry of Justice. La banque de données visée à l’article 1er doit être inscrite au répertoire national des banques de données. Certain listed public bodies may receive communication of data from the database, but only for data that concern them directly. The authorization referred to in Article 1 is valid from the regulation’s entry into force and expires on 31 December 1996.
