Statute overview

About this statute

This preamble identifies the Grand-Ducal regulation and the legal texts it relies on. Assets representing technical reserves may not exceed 50% of total technical reserves, except that the limit is 65% for assets to be provided in 1988 and 1989. The article lists which securities may be used to cover technical reserves and sets percentage limits and listing conditions for some of them. The Minister or the Minister’s delegate must grant relaxations to the article’s rules when needed to respect the principle on congruence of assets representing technical reserves. This article repeals paragraph 3 of article 15.
