Statute overview

About this statute

This regulation sets the organization of the first two years of educator studies in full-time training at the Institut d’études éducatives et sociales. The first two years of educator studies in the full-time training regime are structured into general theoretical, technical, and practical training parts, and each year is divided into trimesters. During the first two years of study, the general theoretical, technical, and practical training parts must include specified mandatory courses, optional mandatory-choice courses, internships, and participation in supervision activities. The theoretical, technical, and practical training activities for the first two years of study are provided according to the annexes, and course schedules are set in the study organisation referred to in Article 21. The institute organizes training placements, which take place during school holidays or course suspensions. Collaboration terms may be set by agreement between the institute’s director and the host institution manager, and the agreements must be submitted to the minister for approval.
