Statute overview

About this statute

This provision is the preamble of a Grand-Ducal regulation on hospital pharmacy and hospital medicine depots. La pharmacie hospitalière et ses locaux/installations doivent respecter des exigences de fonctionnement, d’aménagement, d’équipement, de sécurité et de préparation des médicaments. This article lists the products that fall within the pharmacy domain under the regulation. The hospital pharmacy manager must meet three qualification conditions. The managing pharmacist is responsible for the pharmacy’s technical operation, supervises trainee pharmacists and pharmacy students, acts independently in pharmaceutical activities, and cannot receive instructions from the employer for those activities. Other pharmacists in the hospital pharmacy must hold authorization to practise as a pharmacist in Luxembourg.
