About this statute

This is the preamble to a Grand-Ducal regulation about the consultative commission for recognition of the international baccalaureate. A commission is created to advise the Minister for National Education on international baccalaureate diplomas submitted for recognition with the Luxembourg secondary-school leaving diploma. The minister appoints the commission for four years. The commission must have five civil servants, including at least three who are or have been secondary or technical secondary school professors. The commission meets when its president convenes it, elects a president and secretary from among its members, needs at least three members present to deliberate validly, decides by simple majority, and its members must keep deliberations secret. Les membres de la commission ont droit à une indemnité de 8,00 EUR par séance de travail.
