Statute overview

About this statute

This is the preamble to a Grand-Ducal regulation on aid for rural housing. Financial aid is allocated to households that create separate housing for two generations within or next to the farm buildings, to support the family structure of the agricultural holding. A separate dwelling being arranged must include at least a bedroom, a living room, a bathroom or shower with a washbasin, and a WC. To receive the aid, interested persons must submit a written application to the Minister of Agriculture with a description of the works and installations. The provision sets how investment costs are calculated for aid: actual cost excluding VAT, supported by paid invoices or proof of payment, with self-used materials adjusted by a variable coefficient, and overheads capped at 12% of total investment cost.
