About this statute
This preamble introduces a grand-ducal regulation that amends rules on autonomous excise duties for mineral oils. Certain motor fuels placed on the market in the country are subject to an autonomous excise duty at fixed rates per 1,000 litres. Certain fuels sold for use in vehicle engines on public roads and released for consumption in the country are subject to an additional excise duty called the social contribution, at specified rates per 1,000 litres. This article repeals the Grand-Ducal Regulation of 28 March 1995 on the autonomous excise duty for mineral oils and gas oils used to power vehicles on public roads. This article repeals the Grand-Ducal Regulation of 5 March 1999 on the additional autonomous excise duty called the social contribution.
