Statute overview
About this statute
This preamble identifies a grand-ducal regulation on the conditions and procedures for police career changes. A brigadier police officer may access the inspector of police career, subject to conditions and procedures set later in the article and as a derogation from article 10 of the 2001 grand-ducal regulation. A brigadier-cadre police officer may apply for the inspector promotion exam if they meet the stated service, exam, and selection conditions. Après l’examen de promotion, un classement unique est établi pour les fonctionnaires concernés; l’avancement dépend soit des règles en vigueur de leur carrière, soit de l’examen de promotion de la nouvelle carrière. If a brigadier-career official passes the inspector-career promotion exam, they get an appointment in the inspector police career and keep their own post. If they fail, they must wait three years before applying again; a second failure permanently ends that right.
