For hunting, several firearms and related means are prohibited. Only the listed weapons may be used, subject to Article 1. For rifled-barrel weapons used for hunting, only the listed cartridges may be used, and they must meet minimum calibre and impact-energy thresholds depending on the game species. For hunting hare, pheasant, and mallard, only metallic-shot cartridges with a shot diameter of 3.5 mm or less are allowed. Lead shot is prohibited in and within 30 meters of marshes, lakes, ponds, reservoirs, rivers, and canals.
