Statute overview
About this statute
This preamble introduces a regulation about licensing the import, export, and transit of certain goods to Syria. Exports and transit to Syria, or for use in Syria, of certain listed equipment, goods, technologies, software, related technical assistance, and some brokering services are subject to a licence. A licence is required for certain exports, imports, purchases, and transport actions linked to Syria. This article repeals the Grand-Ducal Regulation of 4 February 2013 that required a licence for importing, exporting, or transiting certain goods to Syria. The Minister of the Economy, the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, and the Minister of Finance are responsible for executing this regulation, each for their own part.
