Statute overview

About this statute

This preamble introduces a Grand-Ducal regulation creating protection zones around named groundwater catchments in several communes. Protection zones are created around specified groundwater intakes in the communes of Habscht, Helperknapp, and Saeul. The protection zones around the listed groundwater intakes are shown on the plans in Annex I, and uncadastered areas inside those zones are included in the protection zones. This article sets water-protection rules for marked zones, farming, vehicle use, tanks, and inspection duties, with some government-authorized exceptions. The operator of the sampling points must set up a measures programme within two years after this regulation enters into force.
