Statute overview

About this statute

This is the preamble to a Grand-Ducal Regulation on the composition and functioning of the Committee for the prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing. This article sets out who sits on the anti-money-laundering and terrorist-financing prevention committee, how substitute members replace members, who appoints them, and who chairs the committee. Le Comité de prévention doit se réunir au moins deux fois par an et aussi souvent que sa mission l’exige. The Comité de prévention may create working groups and assign them specific questions or missions. Those working groups must report regularly to the Comité de prévention. Members of the prevention committee and working groups must provide the executive secretariat, on request or on their own initiative, all information needed for the committee’s tasks, subject to professional secrecy or any investigation they may be under.
