Statute overview

About this statute

This ministerial regulation concerns sanitary control of travelers arriving from smallpox-infected or smallpox-endemic areas. Travelers arriving from a smallpox-infected or smallpox-endemic area must have a valid international vaccination certificate against smallpox. This article defines which districts count as infected with smallpox and which countries count as smallpox endemic areas. Travelers without the certificate must give the control agent their permanent address and, if relevant, their planned movements for the next 14 days.
