Statute overview

About this statute

This ministerial regulation concerns medical examination of workers who are nationals of an EEC member state. The regulation applies to EU Member State nationals who do salaried work in Luxembourg, but it does not apply to certain posted workers from an employer’s foreign establishment if the assignment lasts no more than one year. Covered salaried workers must undergo a health check within eight days after entering Luxembourg. Le contrôle doit comporter un examen radiographique pulmonaire et être exercé sous la surveillance du ministre par un médecin-inspecteur désigné. The worker must bear the costs of the control.
