Statute overview
About this statute
This ministerial regulation sets public prices for Belgian-origin pharmaceutical specialties and the profit margins of wholesalers and pharmacists. Wholesalers and pharmacists may not exceed set profit margins on Belgian-origin pharmaceutical specialties. The Belgian export tax is 0.5% and may be added to prices calculated under Article 1, without adding profit. Public prices for Belgian-origin or Belgian-provenance specialties, VAT included at 2%, must not be above 97.5% of the corresponding public prices valid in Belgium. This provision says the regulation applies to wholesalers from 15 February 1971 and to pharmacists from 15 March 1971.
