Statute overview

About this statute

This ministerial regulation sets tariff conditions for national public transport services for passengers and baggage. This regulation applies to certain regular public passenger transport services, including RGTR services, CFL, AVL, and TICE. Passengers must have a valid ticket, keep it during the trip, and show it when asked; they also cannot claim compensation from the operator or the State for listed service disruptions. Passengers without a valid ticket, or who fraudulently use one, must buy an increased-fare ticket; conductors or train controllers must record the situation, and written notice can require payment with a 50% surcharge. Certain passengers can be refused transport or excluded, and sick persons must be carried at least to the first place where care is available.
