Przekształcenie, o którym mowa w ust. 1, polega na wyłączeniu z dotychczasowego Ministerstwa Rozwoju, obsługującego sprawy działów gospodarka i rozwój regionalny, komórek organizacyjnych obsługujących sprawy działu gospodarka oraz pracowników obsługujących sprawy tego działu. Traci moc rozporządzenie Rady Ministrów z dnia 7 grudnia 2015 r. w sprawie utworzenia Ministerstwa Rozwoju oraz zniesienia Ministerstwa Gospodarki (Dz. U. poz. 2076). Rozporządzenie wchodzi w życie z dniem ogłoszenia, z mocą od dnia 9 stycznia 2018 r.
