Funkcjonariusz ustala tożsamość osoby legitymowanej na podstawie: dowodu osobistego; dokumentu paszportowego; dokumentu potwierdzającego tożsamość cudzoziemca, o którym mowa w art. 3 pkt 3 oraz art. 226 ustawy z dnia 12 grudnia 2013 r. o cudzoziemcach (Dz. U. z 2017 r. poz. 2206 i 2282 oraz z 2018 r. poz. 107 i 138); innego dokumentu zawierającego fotografię oraz oznaczenie serii, numer oraz nazwę organu wydającego. Czynności ustalania tożsamości osoby legitymowanej dokumentuje się w notatniku służbowym lub notatce służbowej w postaci papierowej. Dokumentowanie może być również realizowane w postaci elektronicznej. Rozporządzenie wchodzi w życie z dniem następującym po dniu ogłoszenia.
