§ 3. Na podstawie art. 39 ust. 1 ustawy z dnia 8 sierpnia 1996 r. o Radzie Ministrów (Dz. U. z 2019 r. poz. 1171) zarządza się, co następuje: Tworzy się Ministerstwo Sportu w drodze przekształcenia dotychczasowego Ministerstwa Sportu i Turystyki. Przekształcenie, o którym mowa w ust. 1, polega na wyłączeniu z dotychczasowego Ministerstwa Sportu i Turystyki, obsługującego sprawy działów kultura fizyczna i turystyka, komórek organizacyjnych obsługujących sprawy działu turystyka oraz pracowników obsługujących sprawy tego działu. Traci moc rozporządzenie Rady Ministrów z dnia 23 sierpnia 2005 r. w sprawie utworzenia Ministerstwa Sportu i Turystyki (Dz. U. poz. 1368 oraz z 2007 r. poz. 952). Rozporządzenie wchodzi w życie z dniem ogłoszenia, z mocą od dnia 15 listopada 2019 r.
