The President dismisses the Moscow mayor, appoints a temporary acting mayor, and the decree takes effect when signed.

УКАЗ ПРЕЗИДЕНТА РОССИЙСКОЙ ФЕДЕРАЦИИ О досрочном прекращении полномочий мэра Москвы На основании подпункта "г" пункта 1 и подпункта "а" пункта 9 статьи 19 Федерального закона от 6 октября 1999 г. № 184-ФЗ "Об общих принципах организации законодательных (представительных) и исполнительных органов государственной власти субъектов Российской Федерации" постановляю: 1. Отрешить Лужкова Юрия Михайловича от должности мэра Москвы в связи с утратой доверия Президента Российской Федерации. 2. Назначить Ресина Владимира Иосифовича временно исполняющим обязанности мэра Москвы на период до вступления в должность лица, наделенного полномочиями мэра Москвы. 3. Настоящий Указ вступает в силу со дня его подписания. Президент Российской Федерации Д.Медведев Москва, Кремль 28 сентября 2010 года № 1183
