About this statute

The Ministry’s regulation sets out how the Ministry is organized, what it can do, and how the Minister and departments work. The Ministry’s internal document work is assigned to department directors, records staff, and heads of subordinate services/agencies; the Ministry’s documentation office controls deadlines and handles distribution of acts and instructions. The Minister may issue normative legal acts. The Ministry must prepare a legislative work plan, organize it through the deputy state secretary, include required items in the plan, and report progress to the Ministry of Justice on a quarterly basis. The Ministry must process law-enforcement requests on time, handle citizen and organization appeals within set deadlines, and provide public access to Ministry information except protected information.
