УКАЗ ПРЕЗИДЕНТА РОССИЙСКОЙ ФЕДЕРАЦИИ О Всероссийском Олимпийском комитете В целях дальнейшего развития олимпийского движения в России, повышения роли общественных начал в организации физического воспитания и спорта, а также учитывая официальное признание Всероссийского Олимпийского комитета Международным Олимпийским комитетом, постановляю: 1. Передать право регулирования деятельности федераций по видам спорта, а также других общественных спортивных организаций Всероссийскому Олимпийскому комитету. 2. Правительству Российской Федерации: передать Всероссийскому Олимпийскому комитету право использования наименования "Россия" и образованных на его основе слов и словосочетаний в деятельности российских спортивных общественных объединений и организаций, а также право утверждения статуса российских спортивных федераций; признать Всероссийский Олимпийский комитет правопреемником Комитета по содействию олимпийскому движению при Правительстве Российской Федерации в части исполнения Указа Президента Российской Федерации от 20 января 1992 г. № 40 "О подготовке российских спортсменов к Олимпийским играм 1992 года". 3. Министерству иностранных дел Российской Федерации разрешить Всероссийскому Олимпийскому комитету самостоятельно оформлять выездные документы в соответствии с установленным порядком. 4. Государственному комитету Российской Федерации по управлению государственным имуществом передать Всероссийскому Олимпийскому комитету для размещения его аппарата, а также аппаратов федераций по видам спорта и других общественных организаций здание по адресу: г. Москва, Лужнецкая набережная, дом № 8. 5. Рекомендовать правительствам республик в составе Российской Федерации, главам администраций краев, областей оказывать всемерную поддержку деятельности Всероссийского Олимпийского комитета.
