ПРАВИТЕЛЬСТВО РОССИЙСКОЙ ФЕДЕРАЦИИ Постановление от 24 мая 1995 г. N 517 г.Москва О реализации функций государственной службы по делам ветеранов Во исполнение Указа Президента Российской Федерации от 3 мая 1995 г. N 437 "О государственной службе по делам ветеранов" и в целях структурного и организационного обеспечения реализации положений Федерального закона "О ветеранах" Правительство Российской Федерации постановляет : 1. Создать в составе Министерства социальной защиты населения Российской Федерации Департамент по делам ветеранов и пожилых людей. Создание указанного Департамента осуществить на базе Департамента по проблемам пожилых людей Министерства социальной защиты населения Российской Федерации без увеличения установленной предельной численности и фонда оплаты труда работников центрального аппарата этого Министерства. 2. Федеральным органам исполнительной власти обеспечить реализацию функций государственной службы по делам ветеранов в пределах своей компетенции. 3. Рекомендовать органам исполнительной власти субъектов Российской Федерации и органам местного самоуправления осуществить необходимые организационные меры, обеспечивающие реализацию Федерального закона "О ветеранах", при этом координацию деятельности соответствующих функциональных структур возложить на органы социальной защиты населения. 4. Признать утратившим силу постановление Совета Министров - Правительства Российской Федерации от 23 июля 1993 г. N 705 "О департаменте по проблемам пожилых людей Министерства социальной защиты населения Российской Федерации" (Собрание актов Президента и Правительства Российской Федерации, 1993, N 31, ст.2851).
