The Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR amended an earlier staffing rule and set the Supreme Court apparatus at 414 people.

ПОСТАНОВЛЕНИЕ ПРЕЗИДИУМА ВЕРХОВНОГО СОВЕТА РСФСР О штатной численности аппарата Верховного Суда РСФСР Президиум Верховного Совета РСФСР постановляет: Внести изменения в статью 2 Постановления Президиума Верховного Совета РСФСР от 19 апреля 1985 года "О структуре и штатной численности аппарата Верховного Суда РСФСР", изложив ее в следующей редакции: "2. Утвердить штатную численность аппарата Верховного Суда РСФСР в количестве 414 человек, в том числе Председателя Верховного Суда РСФСР, первого заместителя Председателя Верховного Суда РСФСР, четырех заместителей Председателя Верховного Суда РСФСР, 100 членов Верховного Суда РСФСР, 22 главных консультантов и 62 старших консультантов".
