About this statute

This subsection sets the procedure and required documents for Ministry of Justice registration services for nonprofit organizations. The ministry or its territorial office cannot refuse to accept required documents, but it may suspend or refuse the public service on stated grounds. Officials handle registration paperwork, issue notifications, and follow strict deadlines for nonprofit-registration cases. Минюст России или его территориальный орган must send the applicant a notice within 3 working days, and they cannot refuse to accept the submitted documents. Officials must notify applicants when documents are ready, check identity and authority before issuing them, and hand over the documents under signature. Applicants generally must submit the required documents, and they may ask for some documents in paper form or file correction requests in person, by mail, or electronically.
