The Chairman of the Supreme Soviet orders 100 million rubles to be allocated for Kurgan Oblast, and two parliamentary bodies are tasked with monitoring the targeted use of the funds.

РАСПОРЯЖЕНИЕ Председателя Верховного Совета Российской Федерации О финансовой помощи Курганской области В целях оказания финансовой помощи Курганской области в реализации ее социальной программы по защите малоимущих слоев населения и в организации летнего отдыха детей в оздоровительных лагерях направить в распоряжение областного Совета народных депутатов из средств Фонда Верховного Совета Российской Федерации по социальной поддержке населения 100 млн. рублей. Контроль за целевым использованием выделенных средств возложить на Комиссию Совета Республики Верховного Совета Российской Федерации по бюджету, планам, налогам и ценам и на Комитет Верховного Совета Российской Федерации по делам женщин, охраны семьи, материнства и детства.
