Statute overview

About this statute

This Order sets out how the penalty of being banned from a place or required to stay in a place is carried out. This article defines two terms: ban on entry into a place and restriction of movement. The penalty period for a ban on entry into a place or a restriction on movement is six months to five years. A court may order a ban on entering a place or a restriction on movement for certain sentenced persons. A convicted person ordered to stay or not stay in a certain place must report to the primary-level prosecutor at least once a week, unless the court decides otherwise.
