About this statute
This Order determines how national orders are used. A person who holds a national order must wear it on official holidays or when invited to a meeting, and must wear it in the prescribed way. When the holder of a national order dies, the order must be displayed at the farewell ceremony and then kept by the family representative or returned to the national body in charge of national orders; if there is no family, the sector executive secretary must hand it over after burial. A person who receives a national order must keep it in an honourable way. The family representative must also keep it honourably as a memory of the deceased. If a national order is lost, stolen, or damaged, the holder or family representative must notify the national orders authority, and the holder may get a replacement if due diligence is found.
