Statute overview

About this statute

This article defines “income,” “project,” and “Agency” for the Order. The final classification of tangible cultural heritage is attached to this Order, and the classification is updated after two years. The District authority where the tangible cultural heritage is located must help preserve, secure, promote, manage, and support basic visitor infrastructure at the site. The Agency must place a signpost at tangible cultural heritage sites, and users of heritage signs must respect the heritage’s originality and cultural value. People who use tangible cultural heritage or its symbols must emphasize its originality and the value attached to it in Rwandan culture. They may also add other value-addition activities.
