About this statute

This Order sets out in detail what information may be disclosed. Public and private organs must publish procedures for providing information within six months after this Order is published in the Official Gazette. Public and private organs must proactively disclose specified information and set up mechanisms so people can access information easily through media channels and the Internet. The Office of the Ombudsman may set modalities for information to be disclosed by public and private organs, when deemed necessary and subject to the Constitution and other laws. This article repeals any earlier provisions that conflict with the Order.
